How it works

How it works

A user-friendly, low-friction enrollment process combines the customer’s non-biometric and biometric data creating a server-encrypted, digitally signed biometric credential which is delivered to the customer in the form of a QR code (on smartphone app) and NFC companion.

When accessing a branch, the customer approaches the teller and projects their barcode or taps their NFC companion onto the BioCred reader.

When required, the customer places their finger(s) on the BioCred reader, to match them to the encrypted biometric data stored on the credential.

The Panini software decodes the non-biometric data of the encrypted credential and sends it to the teller software, allowing you to greet your customer by name.

The customer’s identity is confirmed to the teller, and they may be served.
